Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá

Arrival at Bogotá International Airport, welcome by your French-speaking guide and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Bogotá: Botero Museum, Monserrate, Historic Center, Gold Museum

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit of Bogotá with your French-speaking guide: start with Cerro de Monserrate, one of the city’s highest and most iconic viewpoints, offering spectacular panoramic views over Bogotá. Continue to La Candelaria, Bogotá’s historic district. Stroll through its colonial streets as your guide immerses you in the neighborhood’s history and key events.
Traditional Colombian lunch featuring authentic, local flavors.
Next, visit the famous Gold Museum (closed on Mondays), considered one of the most important museums in the world.

Day 3: Coffee Region – Visit of a Coffee Plantation – Salento

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Pereira, in the Coffee Region (Zona Cafetera). Check-in at the hotel.
Upon arrival in Pereira, discover the magic of coffee production on a traditional plantation during an exciting Jeep Willys tour from Salento. Travel through lush landscapes and rich biodiversity while learning about the complex journey from coffee bean to cup.
Along the way, discover the secrets of the soils and cultivation methods that make the region’s coffee so unique. Learn about the careful selection of ripe beans and the importance of harvest timing for quality.
Possibility of tasting single-origin coffees at the hacienda.

Day 4: Coffee Region – Visit of Salento, Cocora Valley & Filandia

Breakfast.
Departure to explore the majestic Cocora Valley, famous for the Wax Palm (Palma de Cera), Colombia’s national symbol, which grows up to 70 meters tall. The valley offers a scenic 2-hour hike along mountain trails.
Lunch included.
Continue to charming Filandia, a small coffee village about 40 minutes from Salento. Its colorful façades form a true urban artwork, earning it the 2023 “Best Tourism Village” award from the World Tourism Organization.

Day 5: Salento / Medellín – Visit of Comuna 13

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Pereira airport and flight to Medellín. Upon arrival, a 45-minute transfer to your hotel.
Only 20 years ago, Medellín was one of the world’s most dangerous cities due to the rule of Pablo Escobar and drug-related violence. Since the 2000s, however, it has undergone a remarkable transformation through investments in education and infrastructure.
Free time for lunch.
This tour invites you to discover the city’s history and its transformation into one of the world’s most innovative cities and a hub for urban art. Graffiti has been officially recognized as an essential cultural element. Streets are filled with vibrant artwork reflecting Medellín’s diversity and energy.
During the tour, you will use Colombia’s most innovative public transport system, experience daily life downtown, and explore the famous escalators of Comuna 13, which have had a positive impact on the local community.

Day 6: Medellín – Visit to Guatapé & El Peñol

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the cultural village of Guatapé, known for its colorful façades and traditional zócalos.
Continue to the impressive Piedra del Peñol, a majestic rock with 740 steps leading to a stunning panoramic view over the islands and mountains of Lago Azul.

Day 7: Cartagena – Visit of the Colonial Fortified City

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and morning flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival, drop-off of luggage at the hotel and start of the city tour.
Lunch in a restaurant inside the fortified city.
Afterwards, a fascinating walking tour of the old town and along the ramparts—an opportunity to enjoy the charming atmosphere of the colonial city, explore its narrow streets, and uncover the secrets of its centuries-old walls.
Your expert guides will share captivating stories of the events and figures that shaped Cartagena’s history.

Day 9: Cartagena – Rosario Islands – Barú

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Cartagena port, then boat ride to the paradise island of Barú (about 50 minutes).
Upon arrival, welcome and check-in at the hotel.
Lunch at leisure.
The afternoon is free to enjoy the beach or make use of the hotel facilities such as beach volleyball, mini-football, table tennis, kayaks, and swimming pools.
Optional activities available on site (extra charge): spa afternoon, eco-tour, aquarium visit, snorkeling, or a nighttime bay visit with a bottle of champagne.
