Day 1: Arrival in Muscat (Sunday) – No Meals Included
After your arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will complete immigration and visa formalities. Then, collect your luggage. Customs and baggage claim are quick and straightforward. Afterwards, you will be warmly welcomed in the arrivals hall by our Miracle Oman representative. Transfer to your hotel for check-in (standard check-in time: 14:00).

Day 2: Muscat City Tour & Sunset Dhow Cruise – Breakfast / Lunch
Your day begins at 09:00 with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Admire the stunning Islamic architecture, intricate décor, and serene atmosphere of this spiritual landmark. The prayer hall, the impressive dome, and the peaceful surroundings are especially remarkable. Please dress appropriately—women must cover their head, shoulders, and knees.
Next, continue to Mutrah Souq, one of Oman’s oldest markets. Wander through narrow alleys filled with exotic spices, colorful textiles, and traditional Omani handicrafts. Enjoy bargaining for souvenirs and soaking up the lively atmosphere while chatting with local vendors. The souq offers an authentic glimpse into Omani culture and is a perfect place to find unique keepsakes.
After the souq, visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, where you will explore Oman’s cultural heritage. The museum showcases a rich collection of artifacts, traditional Omani clothing, ancient weapons, and historical documents. The well-curated exhibits provide a fascinating overview of the country’s development from ancient times to today.
Then, see the Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Admire the striking blue-and-gold façade and the two Portuguese forts, Mirani and Jilali, which flank the palace. While the palace is not open to visitors, its exterior offers insight into Oman’s royal history.

At 16:00, enjoy a relaxing sunset dhow cruise (on a shared basis)—a wonderful way to experience Oman’s stunning coastline. The traditional wooden dhow, emblematic of Oman’s maritime heritage, glides peacefully along the picturesque waters, offering unforgettable sunset views.

Day 3: Excursion to Quriyat, Sinkhole & Wadi Shab – Breakfast / Lunch
Your day begins at 09:00 with a scenic drive to the Bimah Sinkhole, a fascinating natural formation. This deep limestone depression, filled with crystal-clear water, offers a stunning backdrop for memorable photos. Take some time to admire this geological wonder up close.
The journey continues to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most spectacular wadis. The landscape along the way is breathtaking, but access requires a challenging hike over slippery rocks—sturdy hiking shoes are essential. In this impressive valley, a refreshing stream winds through rocky terrain, creating a lush oasis with vibrant vegetation. Enjoy a relaxing swim in the natural, turquoise pools, surrounded by banana plantations and picturesque walking paths. This peaceful haven offers the perfect escape from the heat.

Day 4: Muscat – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands – Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
At 09:00, your journey begins with a scenic drive from Muscat to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. As you leave the bustling city behind, the landscape transforms dramatically—from rugged mountains to expansive desert plains.
Upon arrival, you will discover a true natural paradise: Wadi Bani Khalid is renowned for its crystal-clear pools surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush palm groves. This serene oasis is ideal for relaxing, swimming, or simply taking in the stunning scenery. A short walk along the trails leads to hidden natural pools and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the peaceful atmosphere.

After visiting the wadi, continue toward the Wahiba Sands. Known for its endless golden dunes, this desert offers an authentic Arabian experience. The contrast between the green oasis and the vast sandy landscape is captivating.
In Wahiba Sands, enjoy an exciting 4WD dune drive, gliding across towering sand dunes and witnessing an unforgettable desert sunset. The silence and vastness of the desert make this place magical, offering a glimpse into traditional Bedouin life.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands – Nizwa – Breakfast / Lunch
After your thrilling desert experience in Wahiba Sands, continue your journey to Nizwa, a city rich in history and cultural heritage. The drive takes you through stunning scenery, transitioning from the golden dunes of the desert to Oman’s picturesque mountains and valleys.
Your first stop is the Oman Across Ages Museum, a fascinating cultural and historical museum that provides deep insight into the country’s development from ancient times to the present. With interactive exhibits and an impressive collection of artifacts, this museum is a must-visit for anyone wanting to understand Oman’s heritage more deeply.

Upon arrival in Nizwa, visit the impressive Nizwa Fort, one of Oman’s best-preserved fortresses. Built in the 17th century, it played a crucial role in defending the city. As you explore the massive walls, narrow passages, and spacious courtyards, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Nizwa and the surrounding landscape from the top of the fort. Inside, the exhibits highlight the fort’s strategic importance and traditional Omani architecture.
The tour continues to the Nizwa Souq, one of the oldest and liveliest markets in the country. In its narrow lanes, you’ll find a wide variety of spices, textiles, pottery, traditional Omani silver jewelry, and fresh local products. The vibrant atmosphere offers a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in local life and shop for unique souvenirs.

Day 6: Nizwa Animal Market – Misfat Al Abriyeen – Bait Al Safa – Jabrin – Muscat – Breakfast / Lunch
After breakfast, visit the Nizwa Animal Market, one of Oman’s most fascinating and lively traditional markets. Held every Friday morning in historic Nizwa, it attracts traders and buyers from all over the region. Here, cows, goats, sheep, and camels are traded in a vibrant tradition that has been practiced for centuries.
Your journey continues to Misfat Al Abriyeen, a picturesque village nestled against the slopes of the Hajar Mountains. This charming mountain village is known for its traditional mudbrick houses, narrow alleys, and terraced fields. As you stroll through the village, you’ll be surrounded by lush date palm groves and beautiful gardens. The historic falaj irrigation system, still in use today, adds to the authentic atmosphere. The spectacular mountain and valley views make this an ideal spot for photography and for experiencing rural Omani life firsthand.

You then proceed to Bait Al Safa, a traditional Omani house offering a unique glimpse into the country’s culture and way of life. Beautifully restored, it showcases traditional furniture, artifacts, and handicrafts that reflect Oman’s artistic heritage. A visit here feels like stepping back in time, enriched by Omani hospitality and cultural authenticity.
Next, travel to Jabrin Castle, one of Oman’s most impressive forts. Built in the late 17th century, the castle served as the residence of Imam Sultan bin Saif Al Ya’rubi and was an important center of education and administration. The castle is particularly famous for its intricately carved wooden ceilings, beautiful wall paintings, and elegant courtyard. As you explore the historic rooms, halls, and staircases, you’ll also discover an old library containing inscriptions and manuscripts on Islamic science and philosophy. The combination of architecture and history makes Jabrin Castle an unforgettable highlight.
Return to Muscat and overnight in Muscat.
Day 7: Departure from Muscat
On the final day of your journey, enjoy a relaxed morning before your departure from Muscat, Oman’s capital. After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have some free time to unwind or optionally do some last-minute sightseeing or shopping.
Your transfer to Muscat International Airport will be arranged according to your flight schedule. Sit back and enjoy one last drive through the city before reaching the airport. Please double-check your flight details and keep your travel documents ready.
